His cosmopolitan and culturally diverse personality and scholarship have led him to produce a number of

research papers, articles, arrangements and original compositions.

Babak is a graduate of San Francisco Conservatory of Music where

 he studied with  Mark Teicholz and worked from 2001 to 2006.

He has had numerous radio and TV appearances as well as recitals and

chamber music performances since the age of 10.

In 2006 after observing some of  his passionate students

 in a recital Babak decided to dedicate himself to the art of teaching classical guitar.

As a result he founded the San Jose School of Guitar in the same year to focus on education of

motivated classical

guitar students in the South Bay.

He continues to work at SJSG on different projects as a  pedagogue, composer and producer.
